JustArts Fellowship for Student Leaders in the Arts
Who is Eligible?
To be eligible for the JustArts Fellowship, you must be:
- A degree-seeking student at the University of Arizona
- Enrolled full-time for the 2026-2027 academic year
- Have completed one full year at the University of Arizona
- Have at least one full year of school remaining
What are we looking for in a project?
Selected projects address a student-centered issue or concern on the University of Arizona campus and turn it into an opportunity for change.
JustArts Projects
Encourage greater student involvement in the arts through removing obstacles—including physical navigation and communication needs—and creating opportunities for meaningful engagement.
Facilitate active and meaningful roles in arts activities, programs, and institutions, including decision-making processes.
Center the unique contributions, concerns, experiences, perspectives and the significance of individuals and groups.
Create intrapersonal, interpersonal, and institutional change
Funding and Commitment
Fellows receive a $6,000 award with an additional $1,500 in supply/execution budget.
As a cohort, the fellows are required to enroll and attend FA491 or FA591 course scheduled every other Friday, in addition to biweekly check-ins with the JustArts Program Coordinator.
