Digital Art Inspired by Indigenous Tradition
Starting with a survey, Indigenous participants identify spaces on the University of Arizona campus that remind them of home. In collaboration with students at the School of Architecture, College of Architecture, Planning and Landscape Architecture, Niko created a map using ArcGIS to highlight experiences, spark conversations, and center Indigenous voices.

Nicolette (Niko) Gomez (Yaqui) is a senior completing a B.A. in Design Arts and Practice at the School of Art with a minor in Entrepreneurship and Innovation at the Eller College of Management.
